This allows you to explore most of the city on foot, with the occasional tuk-tuk or taxi ride if you are jumping across town. The advantage to being able to walk everywhere will really allow you to explore the charming stores, coffee shops and restaurants that you would likely miss if you were taking public transportation.
Staying in the center of town will help you to feel as though you are experiencing all of the excitement and experiences that the city has to offer.
